Inner Light: Idea of Love
by Willow (2003)
Inner light is the idea of love.
The journey inward begins.
The inner voice yearns and calls us to wholeness.
Inner Light defines the substance (soul memory) through dreams and visions.
The inner light beckons each individual to search within to feed the vast hunger of the soul
for the dreams intention of divine union as whole Being.

............................ Step one of Inner Light
In a single moment of stillness
I saw the cave illumined.
Suddenly my mind shifts
and I sense fear within me.
The walls of the cave are big and heavy.
The pathway appears narrow.
The waters too deep and unpredictable.
My mind and my heart struggle and I am torn.
There within I see illumination.
I fight the desire to run within
into the light with wings open and full.

I fight the desire to embrace the light
for I know that my life will change
when I seek to see what is within the cave.

Letter of Spiritual Direction on Inner Light in Community
By Willow Tequillo
April 4, 2007

Dear New Breed Healers,

There are Two things that I would like to speak to:

Inner Light and the Rule of Life
Inner Light and Living in community

Inner light and balance is the miracle for love.
In inner light and balance, ego/soul find joy and connection in the center of Being,
I am here and fully present.
Ego/Soul support the miracle of transfiguration. Transfiguration embodies the quality of surrendering in co-operation.
Sixth world initiations occur where deep awareness in trust are examined.
Trusting self to fully participate and have faith in personal dream is the challenge.
Transfiguration occurs through freewill participation of ego/soul to develop life purpose
By understanding that, the highest intention of Divine Source is to be a Being Inlove.
This new gift is cherished, honored and celebrated in the divine human being through singing and dancing in joy and beauty.
The divine human being remembers the dance and song of creation and the universe moves in unison in cosmic waves of light and color.

Dear NBH,

Thoughts on Seeking the Inner light

In seeking the inner light of ourselves we come up - face to face with ourselves.

This is a time which will invoke our fears:

Consideration and questions for thought are:

What fear do I practice unconsciously which supports and feeds my feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness.

What does this fear look like, feel like, how do I cherish it, what comfort does it give me?

How do I unconsciously use this fear to hold me in an abundance of scarcity which keeps me in 4th world thinking where 'I have no voice'?

What would happen if I chose a new chair in the room?
A new chair that held my creative genius voice abundantly?

What is my fear of success?

What losses are connected to the fear of moving on in awakening?

............................
Know that everyone is going through this intensive time of facing the transition of this awareness.
The level that we are dealing with is different, but it is part of the process, just a different stage of development.

Knowing and getting down with our Inner Light requires that we get down with understanding what holds that essence of the shadow of fear.

It is helpful to think of the Essential Being as being dressed in 17 different veils.
Each veil is a screen which allows us to notice our separation.
Each separation is dualistic in nature, i.e. the nature of light and the nature of dark.
Both are so importantly valuable in understanding our whole self, we are equally made up of both.

Each awareness has a purpose, or veil.
The veil of Inner Light that is being looked upon at this time is:

What fear do I practice which supports and feeds my feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness?
How does this practice help me to sustain myself in Forth World values of scarcity and therefore promote disempowerment of self and others?

Where does my victim fit into this mold and how do I call others into supporting my victim?

Please take some time to consider this thought.

Much love and grace, strength and empowerment through this awareness,

Inner light is the idea of love.
The journey inward begins.
The inner voice yearns and calls us to wholeness.
Inner Light defines the substance (soul memory) through dreams and visions.
The inner light beckons each individual to search within to feed the vast hunger of the soul for the dreams intention of divine union as whole being.

3rd Month Contemplation

Purpose

Embracing the Idea of Creating Steps in Conscious Awareness, by Defining the Substance of personal Inner Light

This month we will be examining that part of our Essential Being known as Inner Light. Inner Light is the place within us (matter) which is Enlightened by spirit. Inner Light is a place where we look within to identify where we live and if we want to live there.

Thus throughout this month we will be assessing where we live and do we want to live there.

Through this examination we will begin to explore the personal 'Spiritual Relationship' that we have with ourselves, how we honor this relationship, how we explore our creativity, how we say one thing and do another.

In the process of identifying our Inner Light each of us will examine for our individual self, each seed of our Essential Being. WE are in the "I" stage, here we individually determine whether or not this/that is something that "I" want to keep in 'my life' or not.

Process

During the second month I did notice that a number of you were feeling overwhelmed with the assignments. I am going to try a new approach which will give you the freedom to participate as a group and as individuals without so much stress.

There will be two Mandatory Assignments given this month. Each student is required to participate in these as the basic foundation for the work we are doing here.

Other assignments will be posted each week which are optional and yet they are important in the furthering of your process. These assignments are geared toward the various types of learning styles and the integration of the Mind Body, Physical Body and Emotional Body. It is my intention and hope that you will take on at least one of these per month.

Assignments for the Month:

Assignment #1
  1. There are 8 areas which we focus on to identify and develop life purpose. How we understand, relate and interrelate to each of these areas is crucial to developing conscious awareness.

The areas are:

  • Home
  • Vehicle
  • Work
  • Partnerships
  • Soul
  • Ego
  • Friends
  • Family

Please take the enclosed chart and examine each of these areas of your life.

Week one: Part I -- Where do I live?

Define each of these for yourself.

  • Home
  • Vehicle
  • Work
  • Partnerships
  • Soul
  • Ego
  • Friends
  • Family

State whether or not you have these.
Place them in order of personal importance.

Answer for each:

  • What do I think about this in my Mind Body?
  • What do I sense in my Physical Body?
  • What do I feel about this in my Emotional Body?

Summarize what you have learned about yourself by answering the following question,

  • Where do I live?

Post all of your work in your personal assignment area.
Talk with each other in your small groups about your process.

Week two- Part II -- Where do I live?

List each in the order of personal importance.

Answer the following questions regarding each area:

  • Is there harmony or disruption?
  • Identify the harmony.
  • Identify the disruption.

Define your intention for each area.

Summarize by answering - Where do I want to live?

Week three: Where do I want to live?

Go to your 'developing a Spiritual Relationship' in second month assignment.
Read over and consider how to build steps to build the foundation of my life with the substance of what I consider to be personally important. Make sure that you are considering your quality and asking yourself how your quality fits into this foundation building.

Again>>>>>>>
Use your chart (spiritual relationship list) to systematically to develop your highest spiritual relationship with each of these areas. Be clear, make step by step decisions on how to develop each area. Use the quality that you have been working with as a measuring stick.

Write a summary statement of how this process has help or hindered your understanding of your perception of your inner light. What clarity has been created in bringing focused attention to the defining the substance of your dream by focusing on the intentional steps?

Assignment 2

Completed as a group assignment third weekend of the month.
Paint the, "Inner Light" portrait.

Additional information:

As you can see, No. 5 in the new assignment lists Inner Light Portrait #2. After reconsidering these assignments using your spiritual relationship qualities, please paint a new Inner Light portrait, focusing on these qualities and Inner Light.

Assignment for the 4th Month

Continuing Inner Light.

Read the Letter of Spiritual Direction on Inner Light and contemplate this month.

Now that you have each examined the Shadow side of Inner Light, we will examine the Lighter side of Inner Light.

  1. Look at the definitions that you have written for the seed aspects of Inner Light (home, vehicle, partnership, work. Etc.)
  2. Look at your 5 Spiritual Qualities which you wrote out in Month 2 (or Awareness 1)
  3. Have you used these qualities (words) to specifically define your Inner Light?
  4. Redo the entire 3rd month assignments first by redefining your aspects of Inner Light specifically using your Spiritual Relationship Qualities, (use the words). You may not Change your Qualities, stick with the ones that your soul has called forth.
  5. Post the following on the forum gallery: a. Inner Light Portrait #1
    b. Inner Light Chart - where do I live #1
    c. Inner Light Chart - where do I want to live #1
    d. Inner Light Chart - where do I live #2 (using your spiritual qualities)
    e. Inner Light Chart - where do I want to live #2 (using your spiritual qualities) f. Inner Light Portrait #2 (using your spiritual qualities)
